In the past years, I have gained and successfully implemented solid expertise in marketing and sales in various industries such as IT security, glass and ceramics, measurement and control technology, food and promotional products, in companies with 150 to 10,000 employees, through various positions and projects.
Already during my studies for a Bachelor of Business Administration (Marketing) I worked as a Global Social Media Manager for Bitdefender. I continued my marketing career as Head of Social Media Marketing in the central global B2C/B2B area at Villeroy & Boch and Testo. At Kalfany Süße Werbung I was, as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), responsible for all business units which are active in B2B as well as B2C: Süße Werbung, Bären Company, MyEasySweets and Kalfany with brands like Pulmoll and Sylter Brisen. Now, I am in the role of Marketing Communication Director at ADA Cosmetics International, where I redraw the entire Communication of the Company.
My experience and knowledge in marketing is interdisciplinary – strategic and operational marketing (B2C/B2B business and market analysis, strategic and operational business and marketing planning, implementation and control, corporate identity, business case development and analysis), brand management (brand architecture, positioning, assortment strategy, communication, sensory branding, innovation) and digital marketing (online marketing strategies, e-commerce, SEO/SEM, website optimization, community management and development, social media marketing, marketing automation, blogging, online communication, IT) are just a few of the topics that have fascinated me over the years.
Knowing and understanding how different business areas work and fit together means having a better understanding of the overall picture. The right strategies and tactics are thus recognized and corporate goals are successfully achieved.
Years of working in global companies also gave me an insight into how customers from different countries, regions and continents behave.
The multicultural working environment from the very beginning allowed me to develop the right skills to motivate and lead a team from different countries and cultures.
